We were introduced to this public garden a few months ago on "Recreating Eden" and decided that this was a 'must see' on our cross Canada journey.
With great anticipation, we entered the garden this morning...
... and we spent a fabulous day at Kingsbrae Garden.

Sandy and I each enjoyed a coffee and scone before we headed off to explore.
Isn't the original estate home a beauty? It is now the cafe, gift shop, and small art gallery.
The 27 acres is sheltered by cedar hedges nearly 100 years old.
Thanks for the lovely post on Kingsbrae Garden and I am so happy that it lived up to expectations! Having the Recreating Eden crew here a few years ago was a highlight--they really know how to get at a story--and we have loads of great stories here!
ReplyDeleteClosing for the season this Saturday, Oct 9th, but then we have the food and wine festival, Indulge, the next weekend, and our 2nd annual National Sculpture Competition is still on display until the non-winners go home. Winners keep adding to the beauty of the Sculpture Garden.
cheers, maureen
