Visiting the "Women's Rights National Historical Museum" seemed like a 'must see' while we were travelling through New York.
In July 1848, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott, Martha Wright, Mary Ann McClintock, and Jane Hunt hosted the First Women's Rights Convention in the United States. Three hundred people attended.Saturday, October 2
