Hurricane Earl

The winds howled, the rain came down sideways, whitecaps and rolling waves on the ocean below as we all waited out our first hurricane.


Some tree limbs were lost and we were without power for a few hours but as fate would have it we had the minimalist experience of this hurricane with most of the damage occurring in Halifax and in Cape Breton where they were without power for over 24 hours.
